The right location, the right price, at just the right time. Finding businesses “near me” is one of the most common ways people use their smartphones. However, information about locations is often inaccurate or out of date and special pricing may be missing altogether. One issue is that most directories and social media outlets have been largely focused on consumers, hoping businesses will then be pressured into participation. That’s why Marqii is taking a fresh, innovative approach – putting businesses at the center of all they do.
Marqii CEO and Co-Founder Avi Goren is an experienced sales executive with an extensive background in online directories and data, but little experience in development. “I knew that finding the right development partner was critical.”
After a small initial test project with CabForward, Goren was convinced. With a solid platform in place for Marqii’s business tools, Goren is looking forward to launching Marqii’s consumer-facing platforms. Coming soon is an iOS app for consumers, a web-based backend and voice-activated (Amazon) Ask Alexis skill. You can bet that CabForward will be on board.
